Pagoh Education Hub, Johor Darul Takzim
Main Idea : To create an integrated knowledge hub in the country by grouping several distinguished institutions in one locality with shared common facilities. This development would also act as an economic catalyst for the North Johor region.

Following our success in constructing the Sungai Buloh Hospital and UiTM’s Medical and Health Research facilities, Tunas Selatan entered into a Joint Venture with Sime Darby Properties, a renowned developer in Malaysia to realise the vision of the Pagoh Education Hub. This unique educational enclave will initially house 4 distinguished institutions including Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Politeknik Tun Syed Nasir. The Hub would also comprise of shared facilities such as a Convention Hall, Multi-Purpose Hall, Data Centre, Library, Guest House and Sports Facilities making it a fully integrated development.

The Joint Venture company of Sime Darby Properties Sdn Bhd (60%) and Tunas Selatan Construction Sdn Bhd (40%), known as Sime Darby Property Selatan Sdn Bhd (SDPS) will also be undertaking a maintenance package over a 20 year period after completion of the project. Additionally, SDPS has also engaged Tunas Selatan to provide Project Management Services for the Pagoh Education Hub which includes planning, design, costing ' budgeting and construction under a Project Management Services Agreement (PMSA).

Apart from providing a conducive higher-learning environment, the Pagoh Education Hub is also envisioned to be a catalyst for other future developments in the surrounding areas which will include housing, retail, commercial, industrial, recreational and social components.

Tunas Selatan Construction Sdn Bhd is proud to have been a part of this recently completed project as we were involved in all aspects of its Design, Construction, Commissioning, Building Certification and Maintenance.

The company also takes pride in this project as it involved improving and safeguarding various environmental aspects to the site, including:
