Phase 1A – Electrical & Electronic Engineering Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Infrastructure works 
Main Idea : To create a conducive learning environment for one of the country’s premier technology-based universities, in providing future skilled human capital for the chemical, petro-chemical and other natural resources industries.

Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan dan Teknolgi Malaysia (KUKTEM) eventually changed its name to Universiti Malaysia Pahang after being accredited full university status. The completion of this university would undoubtedly provide additional workforce-ready human capital for related industries and places Pahang as a top notch education hub.

Phase 1A of the project involved the construction of the Electrical & Electronic Engineering faculty, Mechanical Engineering Faculty as well as other infrastructural works:

1. Roads and Surface Drainage
2. Sewerage Treatment Plant and Reticulation
3. Water Reticulation System and Reservoir
4. Main Drainage Works and Electrical Infrastructure
5. Communication and ICT Infrastructure
6. Landscaping Works
